Ms. Janowitz is a senior associate with Intergage Consulting Group Inc. and an executive health-care administrator and senior consultant with more than 20 years' experience in a variety of settings and on assignments with institutions, professional associations, governments, not-for-profit organizations, task forces and commissions. She is a proven senior manager with a strong background in health-care systems, processes and policy, and experience leading multi-disciplinary teams to accomplish results within large, complex environments.
She has substantial skills and experience in institutional change management, governance, program and clinical services planning, and evaluation skills. As a senior administrator, she gained substantial experience working within the constraints of complex, managed health-care organizations. She has hands-on experience in the merging of large, complex organizations and was involved in numerous planning initiatives to amalgamate and develop consolidated regional governance and organizational structures. In addition, she has worked on various process redesign projects and conducted money-for-value audits of health-care services.
Susanna has substantial experience in health human resource planning, policy development, and governance on institutional, provincial and national levels. She has conducted national stakeholder public consultations, served as a policy analyst for the Nova Scotia Royal Commission on Health Care, and participated in several studies on behalf of Canadian national task forces and initiatives.
Susanna holds a B.Sc. in Health Care Management (minor in Finance) and a Masters Degree in Health Services Administration.
